Q: Congratulations on being recently elected the Greek Affairs chair for LKT. What do you think Greek Life means to us?
A: Greek life has always been a big part of LKT. We call ourselves Brothers, we have families, we have Bigs and Littles, and of course we have our beloved letters! We embrace so much of the positive sides to Greek Life and I feel it brings us closer together.
Q: Outreach Week begins this weekend! What can the potential members of Omicron class expect from this action packed week?
A: Outreach week is so busy and fun, it's insane! We hold two events everyday of the week so we can get the best turn out possible, both from brothers and potential new members! We host all sorts of fun events like Kickball, Duckpin Bowling, Trivia Night, Game Night, and so much more!
Q: What else can we expect from LKT's Greek Life this semester?
A: After Outreach week when we bring in our Omicron class, I will be hosting a couple 24 Hour Film Challenges to help get our new class familiar with each other as new brothers! Along with some help from older brothers so they can all start to decide who they might want as Bigs and Littles! Also in April is our Initiation when we reveal who those Bigs and Littles are, and celebrate the new members!
Q: All Greek Life events aside, do you yourself have any projects or plans for the rest of this semester?
A: Aside from LKT I am assistant stage managing and operating the light board for Towson's Mainstage production of Sweeney Todd, and also stage managing one of the student shows, The Bald Soprano!
To kick off Outreach Week, Betsy will be hosting LKT Present's tomorrow. This event is a public screening where Brother's present some of their best work.
