Q: Last week was Shadow Week for LKT, where we made a short film with all of the incoming Pi Class. How was that experience for you?
A: Shadow Week was an awesome experience that I wish I had when I joined LKT. I learned a lot on set and got to know a lot of the new members much better. It was definitely a lot of fun (even if the set was really small for 40 people), and I'm glad I got to experience making a short film with my fellow brothers.
Q: As a non-EMF major, how do you go about bringing in your skill set to the society?
A: When I joined LKT I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to make a contribution because I wasn't an EMF major, but now I have found ways to incorporate Art and Design into production. I learned that I could do Production Design and Costuming on set and I can't wait to start working on more projects and showing people what I can do best.
Q: Rumor has it that you are trying to help revive the relatively dormant Arts Committee of LKT. What is the purpose of this committee, and where would you like it to go?
A: The purpose of the LKT Arts committee is to be sort of an extension of production, but it focuses more on the artistic side of film making like Production Design, Make-Up, Costuming etc. It also serves as a way to bring out the more creative side of LKT without all of the technical stuff. I would definitely like it to become more prominent and see if we can get more collaborations with filmmakers and artists.
