Bio: Sup, Brock Jones here. I was born in Baltimore City and was raised in Anne Arundel County. I am majoring in Electronic Media & Film with a track on radio, I’m also minoring in Mass Communication. I have to say that I didn’t really fully realize my fascination with music until my mid-teens; perhaps when I had discovered Electronic Dance Music, specifically dubstep and Drum & Bass, for myself. As time went on I grew ever more enthralled with EDM and I grew to love the many genres umbrellaed under it. My curiosity would be soon draw me towards the artists that were creating and performing some of my most favorite tracks, DJs and Producers. This new culture seemed otherworldly to my prying eyes and eventually as time went on, and my ambition grew I would soon acquire my first beloved set of turntables. I began to teach myself how to DJ before college and alongside the controller I had saved up enough money to purchase a highly professional DAW called Ableton Live 9. I was aspiring to create my own tracks and really dive deeper into my creative sphere. My passion would only continue to blossom when I transferred to Towson University from York College.
When I transferred to Towson I knew that I could expand my knowledge of Sound Design, Audio Production & Recording by changing my major and fully immersing myself into the big wide world of Audio and Media!
